What is Wonderland Factory?

Wonderland Factory is a fully decorated party boutique specializing in events for girls of all ages…from the young to the young at heart. We provide a space and services for any Birthday, Celebration, Tea Parties, Theme Parties, Craft Parties, Girls Night Out, and more! We even offer a package (for individuals or as an event) to do an ‘Instagram Influencer’ type photo shoot!

How do I reserve a party?

There are multiple ways to submit your party request. Book online, call 830-375-5415, send an email to info@wonderlandfactorytx.com, or message us on Facebook or IG (@wonderlandfactorytx)

How far in advance do I reserve my party?

We welcome short notice bookings but to avoid disappointment, we recommend that you book well in advance. We suggest booking events at least 8 weeks in advance. However, if you need a last minute date, please call or send an email to info@wonderlandfactorytx.com to check availability.

Is there a minimum or maximum number of guests I can invite?

Most of our packages are for up to 8 people, including the guest of honor. If less than 8 attend your event, you will still be charged the same amount. Events with more than 8 guests will incur a $20 charge per additional guest.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and cash. Checks are not accepted.

How much deposit is required to reserve an event date?

A non-refundable $150 deposit is required to reserve all dates/times and in order to start your event planning process.

When is final payment due?

Final balance is due 3 days before your event and will be based upon your final headcount. If final balance is paid prior to the date of your event, and a cancellation occurs for any reason, 50% of the total amount will be reimbursed within 10 calendar days.

When do I provide final headcount?

Final headcount is confirmed 3 days prior to the event. We will call you to confirm final guest count or you can call us at 210-386-8185. This information is important as it allows Wonderland Factory to prepare for your event. Please note that you will be charged for the number of guests confirmed. No credit will be given for guests who do not wish to participate or participate in partial services.

What else do I need to bring?

Wonderland Factory will provide paper goods (plates, cups, napkins), plastic utensils, and the first sparkly pink lemonade drink for the guest of honor and her guests. The party boutique has a small refrigerator and freezer for your use as well. You provide the food and cake/cupcakes/birthday candles. In addition, if this is a child’s party, you will provide paper goods and refreshments for your adult guests.

PLEASE NOTE: All food needs to be store bought from a restaurant, bakery, or grocery store. Party foods cannot be prepared from your home due to insurance and liability issues (unless you have signed a special waiver accepting all responsibility and liability arising from any food issues.)

If you are having food (or anything else) delivered, we ask that you email us a copy of your food receipt along with your delivery time to ensure Wonderland Factory is ready to receive your delivery.

What happens if the guest of honor is late to her own party?

It is imperative that we start and finish all parties within a timely manner. Should your party not begin at the scheduled time, we are unable to extend any parties due to late arrivals, including the guest of honor. Guests coming late may join the party at whatever point it has progressed to.

Can siblings of the guests participate?

Please remember that our party activities are only for the guest of honor and her guests. If anyone has a sibling who wishes to participate in the activities, they should be included in the final headcount. Events with more than 8 guests will incur a $20 charge per additional guest.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for your event. If you must cancel your appointment time, a 7 day cancellation notice is required. We will gladly work with you to choose an alternate date for your event based on availability. Your deposit is non-refundable, however we will apply it to another event date and there is no penalty. If a cancellation for any reason occurs after the final payment has been made, 50% of the total amount will be refunded within 10 calendar days.

What sanitary precautions do you take for every event?

Each event will have clean and washed robes and dress up items. Disposable applicators are used for all makeup applications. Surfaces are sanitized between each party.

What is the typical length of a party?

Parties are typically 2 hours long, but additional time is available for an additional fee.

Is there Supervision?

We are not responsible for bad behavior and uncooperative guests. We kindly ask you to monitor and attend to any guest that does not want to participate so we can provide the best experience for the rest of your guests. We also ask that you remain at the event at all times. We are not responsible for accidents or injuries.

What happens in the event of inclement weather?

In the event of inclement weather, serious illness, or other unforeseen emergencies, Wonderland Factory reserves the right to cancel any event and offer an alternative event date.

What happens the day of the event?

Wonderland Factory is one large space. One area is where guests are served their food/drinks/cake/cupcakes and where any craft activities are performed. We will serve the first complimentary sparkling pink lemonade drink to your guests, but you are responsible for serving the additional beverages/food/cake/cupcakes to the guests. In addition, if this is a child’s party, you are also responsible for serving food/beverages to the adult guests. The food will be served about 45 minutes to an hour after your party start time.

PLEASE NOTE: We offer a cake cutting service for a $20 fee.

We’ll have another area set up for any of the dress-up/make-up portions of the event.

What if my child has an allergy?

Please notify us of any allergies when booking your event.

Are there any other guidelines I should know about?

We MUST have a Parent/Child Activity Waiver for each guest (including guest of honor). This is mandatory. You may complete the form and sign it electronically directly from our website and click submit. Or you may complete the waiver from our waiver link provided to you via email.

Occasionally we will be updating our website, Facebook, or Instagram page for different events held at Wonderland Factory. We have photo release forms for advertising purposes only.

All prices are subject to a 18% gratuity and sales tax.

Liability:

Wonderland Factory provides a safe and entertaining environment and assumes no responsibility or liability for accidents, allergies or any other medical reaction related to food items, clothing, make-up, face paint, injuries to party guests, property damage, or any activity taking place immediately before, during and/or immediately after the party. In case of Liability and/or financial remuneration due to the above mentioned, the responsibility lies strictly with the client.
